Welcome to our ward and our blog

Hello Sisters...There have been many changes the last couple of weeks. We are now a ward with about 120 sisters. What a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other and develop new friendships. We, as a Relief Society Presidency, want you to know how excited we are to visit you sisters and get to know you better. Part of the motto for Relief Society states, "We are beloved spirit daughters of God, and our lives have meaning, purpose, and direction. As a worldwide sisterhood, we are united in our devotion to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Exemplar. We are women of faith, vision, and charity." May we draw close together.....Sister Bailey

Sister Spotlight: Cindee Bailey

I have been married to Roger Bailey for 36 years, a teacher 20 + years with 4 great kids:  daughter Trish, son Brent and daughter in law Allison 3 cute grandkids:  Mabel, Will, Brigg lives in West Jordan, son Jason and daughter in law Lindsay 3 cute grandkids:  Gavin (passed away), Jack, Owen lives in Vegas, and son Craig - single and looking (ha ha).

I love reading, scrapbooking, crafts, walking the lake with our dog Mia.

One of my favorite quotes is from President Hinckley at his wifes funeral--- "It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is.  It all works out.  Don't worry.  I say that to myself every morning.  It will all work out.  Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future.  The Lord will not forsake us.  If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, he will hear our prayers."

Sister Spotlight: DeAnn Edwards

I moved into Daybreak, it seems a short time ago, but according to the Day Break 3rd Ward it has been a long time...  6 months.  I work full-time as a paralegal at a construction law firm in Salt Lake and have realized I love construction law and contracts are a stimulating read.  Okay, I'm kidding; but I really do enjoy my job.

About my family:
I have three children, whom I adore and treasure.  Lynlee is 21 and attending a singles ward, which I hope will eventually lead me to having a whole bunch of grand kids.  Terann is 18 graduating from Bingham High School.  And Paul is 10 and an expert on the Wii.

My favorite hobbies:
I love doing everything, but I don't have the time to do everything.  I love to sew, play the piano, cook, and everything else that is fun.  But above all the other fun things to do, my most favorite this is to play with my kids.

One of my favorite quotes is by President Hinckley, "Life is to be enjoyed, not endured."
I have a strong testimony and I know this gospel is true.  I look forward to this calling as an opportunity to serve and to get to know each one of you!
